Risk Assessment

Birds Tree Consultancy provide AQF5 level reporting of risk assessments for existing trees. We utilise the Visual Tree Assessment (VTA) Method (Mattheck & Breloer, 1994).  This inspection enables the trained consultant to identify any external manifestations of decay, structural weakness or damage. Where there is some evidence of decay, damage or instability, Birds Tree Consultancy are able to utilise the latest Resistograph technology to test accurately for internal defects. This comprehensive approach enables Birds Tree Consultancy to provide unequivocal results that clearly identifies trees that may provide a potential risk of failure.
